07/22/2004: "Dead Horse Beat... Uh, Tin Cat, ahem... hat."

So, yesterday I ran Daver's very nice Roland VS1824 during Tin Cat's (or whatever they're going to choose for a name) band practice. Two highlights that I have no qualms whatsoever about sharing:

1. Evan (drummer) singing an altered lyric.
2. Daver and Evan discussing why Evan doesn't need to leave.

Dan + recording devices = fun for all.

What Evan says is kinda hard to hear without headphones in the second clip, so here's a transcription:

Dave: Evan, you don't have to go get laid. This just does it right here (plays beautiful chord).
Evan: I'm not goin' to do that.
Dave: Oh, you're not?
Evan: Well, maybe, but still.
